Welcome! Сердечно вас вітаємо!

The International Workshop on Unconventional Magnetism in Quantum Materials brings together the international and Ukrainian research communities working across theory, experiment and material synthesis in the field of unconventional magnetism. The event aims to foster in-depth discussions and facilitate exchange of ideas.

To ensure accessibility for students and early-career researchers, the program includes a tutorial lecture at the beginning of each session introducing key concepts. This lecture is followed by shorter contributions highlighting recent developments.

The workshop will be held in a hybrid format, with onsite events taking place in Kyiv. The venue also provides access to a conveniently located shelter in case of air raids, ensuring participant safety.

WORKSHOP PROGRAM It is possible to follow the presentations online without registration. Please request the access link by email to gu-qumat@ifw-dresden.de

Topics include: all aspects of altermagnetism, unconventional quantum magnets, topological magnetic states, non-collinear spin structures, unconventional spin textures.
